Featured Speaker - Shelly Harper, Senior Vice President, Programming, Altitude Sports & Entertainment

Harper has over 25 years experience in television programming, scheduling and production. She began her career at Home Sports Entertainment in 1982. As a freelance graphics operator, her clients included CBS, ESPN, Raycom Sports, SportsChannel and Home Sports Entertainment (HSE). She also worked as an Associate Producer and Producer for many professional team events in Houston and as the program director for Prime Sports Southwest.

From 1996-1999 she served as Director of Programming and from 1999-2001 as VP of Scheduling and Program Operations for FOX Sports Net at their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. Harper has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Harper had her own consulting firm from 2001-2004, Sharper Media. She is a member of the National Association of Television Programming Executives, Women’s Sports Foundation, Women in Sports Careers and Women in Cable and Telecommunications.
